When I was young, we ate basic foods that were good for you and my mother graduated from college with a degree in Home Economics. My mother let us make the desserts when we started learning how to cook. We made cookies, cakes, puddings and custard. When relatives came over, we made homemade ice cream in the White Mountain churn freezer. We all took turns sitting on the freezer to hold it down and turning the crank. I still use the same recipes.
Thanks,
