Memories & Stories

Imperial Sugar Company,
I have a cookbook collection dating from the early 1900s. I cannot remember a time that I wasn’t in the kitchen begging to help. Actually, I thought I could do it all and proved it to her when she came home one day and I had dinner ready. I was 10. It all started with that little cookbook that I treasure to this day. My mother ordered it for me, and we started making everything in the book, one page at a time. It is one of my fondest childhood memories. I strongly believe these little cookbooks for children are priceless.

With Appreciation,
Linda Cummings
