Ingredients

    Directions

    1. Bring heavy cream or milk to a boil. Remove from heat and add instant coffee. Mix well and set aside. Let cool to room temperature. 
    2. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add one cup of powdered sugar and mix until light and creamy.
    3. Gradually add remaining powdered sugar alternating with coffee flavored cream. Scrape bowl well. Whip until very light and fluffy. Add vanilla and salt and combine well.

    Mine turned out kinda runny, any tips. I love this frosting but I don't know what to do to keep it from being to thin. I followed the recipe to the letter. Please if you have a tip I could really use the help.

    A couple of thoughts.
    1) The butter must be room temperature, but not too soft. Butter is room temperature when you gently press with your finger and it makes a small indention. It should feel slightly cool still, not warm, and look smooth, not greasy.
    2) If the cream mixture was still too warm it could have softened the butter too much.
    3) You can always add a bit more powdered sugar, 1/4 cup at a time to reach your desired consistency.

    Ingredientes

    • 1/4 crema o leche
    • 3 cucharadas de café instantáneo
    • 5 cucharadas + 1 cucharadita o 1/3 taza de mantequilla sin sal, suave
    • 3 tazas de Imperial Sugar Azúcar en Polvo Confeccionar
    • 2 cucharaditas de extracto de vainilla
    • Pizca de sal

    Direcciones

    1. Hierva la crema o leche. Saque del fuego y añada el café instantáneo. Mezcle bien y póngalo a un lado.
    2. Bata la mantequilla hasta que quede cremosa. Añada una taza de azúcar en polvo y mezcle hasta que quede suave y cremosa.
    3. Gradualmente añada el resto de la azúcar alternando con el café. Raspe bien el tazón. Bata hasta que quede suave y esponjoso. Añada la vainilla y la sal y combine bien.
