Ingredients

2 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered, save a few pieces to decorate
1/4 cup Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Combine strawberries and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves. Set aside for 15 minutes or until strawberries release liquid and a syrup forms.
Combine heavy whipping cream and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk until vanilla whipped cream thickens; about 3 minutes.
Add strawberries with syrup to cream. Stir until combined. Scoop into serving glasses. Decorate with more sliced strawberries. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready.
